Happy Birthday to my miracle!

It is hard to believe it has been 7 years since my miracle was born. Ayden was born on Aug. 24th, 2004 weighing 1lb. 12oz. at 25 weeks gestation. After my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, I was excited at the thought of carrying a baby to term. He was supposed to be born around Christmas, but had other plans. He was born on our 2nd anniversary. Certainly a present not to be outdone. The doctors prepared us for the worst; death, disability. After seven years, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutritional help, tests and more tests and he is doing better than we could have hoped for. He is on daily growth hormone shots, which seem to be working wonders. He is entering first grade this year! My how time flies!
